There is no randomness. What pops up where and when is fixed by the day's date, so everyone who plays that day gets the same order.
Tapping an empty square costs nothing. A missed tap is never punished. You lose points only when you tap a stone.
We show you what you missed. When the round ends you see how many grains you missed, so you know where to look next time.
We do not count days in a row. We say nothing about the days you were away.
